Phil's brow was still furrowed, just a little, not sure where this was going, but deciding he might as well just go with it instead of trying to figure it out before Clint was ready to tell him.

He did as requested, and closed his eyes, letting Clint lead him. He could tell almost immediately where they were going, since he knew the layout of the apartment and he couldn't say he was surprised that their destination seemed to be the bedroom.

Clint led him carefully, and once they got to the bedroom, he stood behind Phil, hands on his hips, making sure Steve and Bucky were ready before saying, "Okay. Open your eyes."

And then, after a moment's hesitation, "Happy birthday?"

Buck smiles arms still wrapped around Steve chin still on the blonds shoulder. He lets go of Steve a little and gives a slight wave. "Happy birthday Phil."

He tries to stay relaxed when the door finally opens and he smiles when he sees the men in the door, waiting for Phil to open his eyes to see them sitting there.

"Happy Birthday," he echos.

Phil blinked at the voices, because he recognized them, and once he realized that they were, in fact, coming from the people they were supposed to becoming from, it didn't take him long to figure out what was going on here.

The confusion on his face shifted to genuine surprise that then shifted briefly to suspicion and then to his usual sort of wry amusement. Mostly he was surprised by the fact that Clint was willing to share.

What he said, however was: "I can't say as anyone's tried to give me a heart attack for my birthday before. I appreciate it." And that was definitely an appreciative look he ran over both Steve and what he could see of Bucky, adding: "Though... I'm not quite sure how you expect this to go, I'm not quite as young as the rest of you. Relatively speaking, of course."

Clint watched his face with no little trepidation, looking for signs that this was not going the way he hoped. When everything seemed okay, he relaxed a little.

"Well, I kind of figured it could go however you wanted it to, so long as everybody's on board. It's your birthday, you call the shots."

Bucky nods a long with Clint and snorts a little at Phil's age comment. "Yeah birthday boy calls the shots... swear not trying to give you a heart attack.... scouts honor." He says holding up three fingers.

He can't help but lick his lips a little at the way Phil looks at both of them.

"He wa a never a Boy Scout," Steve warned, though whether that's true or just a joke might not be entirely clear given his grin. He could see Phil eyeing them and he was obviously mostly on board which helped him relax a little more. He just didn't want things to be awkward. "We figured we'd wait to iron out some details until we knew what you wanted."

"Duly noted." He replied to Steve's comment with a nod and a twitch of a smile, one that smoothed out into the same level, mostly-wry amusement again as he met each of their eyes in turn, brow arching again when he got to Clint.

"So I'm calling it." A nod to indicate that he understood that much, that they'd at least thought this partway through without him, "And you'll all follow orders here as well as you do in the field?" It was directed at all three of them, even though he was still looking at Clint.

Clint's eyes were wide as he met Phil's gaze. This was basically going as well as he could have hoped it would. He was still a little worried that, after being with Steve (and Bucky), Phil might realize that he was settling for Clint when he could have something much better, but he also really wanted to do this for Phil.

He nodded once, "Yes, sir," and smirked just a little. That part, at least, he had no hesitation on. Phil giving orders was invariably hot.

Bucky laughs a little at Steve saying he was never a Boy Scout and gives the blond a playful bite to the shoulder.

When Phil puts it like that his pupils get a little bigger and more blood starts flowing to the south.

"He's horrible at following orders in the field..." Bucky smirks a little nodding to Steve. "But I'm up for following some orders." He gives Clint and Phil a wicked grin.

If he's honest he's worried about losing Steve to one of these men, men with less scars and two human arms, and as far as he's concerned a whole lot less issues to deal with.

Bucky didn't need to worry anymore now than he did about Howard. Phil and Clint wer a safe bet because they were both already taken and Steve loved Bucky. There was no question about it.

He scoffed and shook his head at Bucky, then grins a little at Coulson, "That's because I'm usually giving them but I think I'll make do just following this time around."

Phil, for his part, wasn't worried about losing anyone and was only mostly-jokingly worried about the heart attack. Mostly he was worried about getting in the way of whatever Bucky and Steve had managed to put back together, but considering that they were both here and apparently okay with this, he wasn't going to let himself worry about that too much.

He slid an arm around Clint's waist, tugging him close even as he turned back to the pair on the bed, "If anyone has a problem at any time, even if you just need to take a breather, say so, we'll work something out. Is that clear?" He waited for agreement on all sides before the smile returned, brow arching, "Now which one of you did he ask about this first?"

Clint relaxed a little when Phil pulled him closer, leaning into the familiar warmth of him. His arm slid around Phil's shoulders as he murmured his agreement to the first question, leaving the other for Bucky or Steve to answer since it was directed toward them.

Buck gives a mock salute to Phil about the break thing and a slight nod, before his arms move back around Steve for a moment.

Bucky smirks and raises his hand, "That would be me." He says easily, "Technically he asked if he could borrow Steve... but we're a two for one kind of deal." He says easy and warm, falling more at ease with things.

Trust Coulson to think of all the angles and Steve appreciates it, but he's not worried either. As fun as this promises to be, it's not something he plans on happening often.

"Which is what I would have said anyway," he tells the other two. "Bucky came to talk to me after Clint asked."

Phil made a thoughtful little sound in his throat, fingers having wormed their way up under the hem of Clint's shirt, just resting against warm skin, "Well I was going to say that gives you first dibs, but if it's all or nothing you're just going to have to share."

He turned his head to brush a kiss against Clint's temple before giving him a nudge towards the bed, "Go on, make sure our guests feel welcome." He shed his jacket once he'd let Clint go, stepping out of his shoes, but for the time being, that was all.

Clint shivered just a little, leaning into the touch until Phil nudged him along. He grinned at the man as he made his way to the bed, toeing off his shoes as he went. "That is the blandest way anyone has ever said, 'go fuck,' babe, you know that right?"

He was not at all displeased, though, more amused than anything.

Bucky laughs and shifts a little to make room for Clint to join him and Steve. "Yeah that was kind of bland way of saying I wanna watch the three of you fool around." Buck laughs, the arm not around Steve reaching out to Clint.

He feels a little like he's just along for the ride but that's okay by him. It's going to take a little to get used to four bodies in the bed but three he knows he can do. Steve kicks his shoes out of the way and scoots back on the bed a little, grinning a little at Clint as he approaches. His eyes flick Coulson briefly and then he leans over to give Bucky a nice solid kiss. He figures his boyfriend has dibs on first kiss here.

"Not very specific orders either," Steve teases but hey, he can improvise.

Phil clicked his tongue, shaking his head at Clint's statement, having to bite back a smile at the rest, "There's no need to be crass, Clint. If 'go fuck' was what I meant, then that's what I would have said."

He shook his head again as he tugged the dressing chair over to sit on, toes resting on the edge of the bedframe, "And you all went from 'yeah I guess' to 'be more specific' really fast. I thought I was going to have to be more persuasive."

"I think we're pretty much all on board for whatever you have in mind," Clint said, smiling over his shoulder at Phil as he peeled off his t-shirt and climbed onto the bed on Bucky's other side.

Bucky laughs against Steve's lips and kiss gets deep and dirty for a moment. Metal fingers reach out and pull Clint closer by his belt. He pulls out of the kiss with Steve and turns to kiss Clint a little, before pulling off his own shirt.

"Clint did most of the persuading already," Steve agrees with a nod as he watches Bucky kiss Clint and he licks his lips. This had definitely been a good idea. He waits a second and then reaches for the hem of his own shirt, peeling it off to toss on the floor. He shifts closer to the other two and kisses the back of Clint's shoulder, glancing toward Coulson as he does.

His brow arched and he made a thoughtful sound as the kiss passed from Steve to Bucky to Clint, but he nodded, "Alright. Let's make this interesting from the start. When I say 'hold' no one moves, except as directed, until you get the all clear again. Understood?"

Mostly he was just going to let them wear themselves out a little before joining in, otherwise he'd be completely useless after five minutes.
