Open Birthday Post

For most of Clint's life, his birthday has not been a very big deal to just about anybody. When he was really little, there were cupcakes, and sometimes games and once (he thinks) friends, but that didn't last long, and the group home was not big on birthdays, and in the circus nobody really cared, and since then...well, as you get older, birthdays just stop being as big of a deal.

At least, that's what he always tells himself. And that's why he never tells anybody when his birthday is. Doesn't matter anyway. It's just another year.

Clint orders a beer just for the hell of it. He doesn't fall asleep, at least not for more than a few minutes at a time, mostly just because he's too jazzed about the whole trip to relax that much.

Bucky doesn't sleep too much, he never does when he's flying. He grins at Clint though as the pilot announces the decent into LAX. "Here we go." He laughs a little.

Clint can't help laughing at that grin. "God, you are way too old to be this excited for Disney."

"Shut up... never been on a real vacation before... and I am not the one that has all the fancy dvd's." He says, but he smiles and leans over and kisses Clint. "You want the stoic assassin on this trip?" He asks making a serious face but there is humor hidden behind it.

"DVDs are not fancy, babe," he says with a laugh. He pokes Bucky when he puts on his serious face. "If you keep up that face, we can go to the front of every line. Between the two of us, we can be terrifying."

"You do get the fancy ones... I don't know." He laughs serious face falling away. "Yes terrifying small children and families is what we do best, you're resting face is pretty terrifying." He snorts poking Clint back in the ribs.

"Isn't that why we're going to Disney? To scare everybody away?"

He carefully relaxes his face for about five seconds before laughing.

Bucky laughs and shakes his head a little. "Yeah that's why we are going, not to ride rides, but to terrify small children." He snorts and bounces a little in his seat as the plane touches down.

"Damn right it is," he says with a grin, reaching for Bucky's hand.

Bucky laces his fingers through Clint's as the plane taxis to the gate. He stands up and stretches a little, once the seat belt light goes off.

"There's a shuttle we can take to the hotel." He says raising his arms above his head. "Once we get our shit." He laughs.

"Sounds good," he says, shifting a little and getting up to stretch.

They aren't the only couple on the shuttle which is kind of nice, though there are a couple of families too.

When it finally pulls up to the hotel, Bucky is kind of surprised to see Micky out side. He knew they where staying at one of Disney's places but he thought the character where just a park thing.

"So are we going to take all the ridiculous pictures or be serious adults." He smirks a little.

"Oh, like we're gonna be all serious adults," Clint says, trying not to grin and failing.

"Do we even want to try?" He asked more amused then anything as he picks up their bags. "I am totally getting you ears by the way."

"Only if I can give you some too," Clint answers, grabbing his bag and reaching for Bucky's hand.

"Fine we both get ears." He says squeezing Clint's hand a little. He gets them all checked in and lets out a low whistle at their suite. He didn't know it was going to be like this.

It looks like something straight out of Robinson Crusoe... and it's bigger then his pre-war apartment. "Okay so I didn't expect this..." He says looking at the bed on the raised platform with the explorer tent over it. "I just clicked adventure land room." He snort and starts laughing and can't seem to stop.

Clint laughs as he looks around. "Oh my god, babe," he says. "This is...awesome."

Bucky's hands go to his face, to try and kill the laughter. "I swear I didn't know... they just said pick your room." He wipes the tears from his eyes. "I am happy you like it though." He says looking around more.

"Do you like it?" Clint asks, looking at Bucky expectantly.

[not_a_commie]

"I do... I love it." He grins brightly, "We should get one of these for our place." he grins bouncing onto the bed a little. "You really think it's awesome?"

Clint laughs and flops onto the bed next to Bucky. "Yeah, we should."

[not_a_commie]

"I was just surprised is all... I didn't think it would be this... detailed." He says turning his head to look at Clint.

"So start the park now or tomorrow?"

Grinning, he turns onto his side to look at Bucky. "Tomorrow," he says. "We want the whole day."

"Sounds good wanna get the most out of out couple days." He rolls over and grabs the room service menu and spreads it out. "What should we get birthday boy?"

Clint shifts onto his stomach to look it over. "Steak? Something...big and meaty..." He glances at Bucky and waggles his eyebrows.
